Good avi to mp4 converter

Yo, I need some help finding a good free video converter. I've got some avi files that I want to be mp4.
All the ones I've downloaded had trojans or something crappy. Anybody got some links?

If the files are under 100MB, you can use http://www.zamzar.com/ But make sure to check your email cuz the links expire after 24 hours.

I use HandBrake on my mac, sorry if you use windows because my advice is worthless

Found a converter called "Free Video Converter" by koyotesoft. Super easy to use and its free!
