no straight edge tattoos. i made this account over 10 years ago but i’m pretty sure it was in reference to that song when the ink leaves your fists by the wrong side. “two words…”

Got this done a few years ago now, was my first tattoo (go big or go home etc). 5 hour single sitting.

It's a reproduction of some snowboard artwork done by ex snowboard pro Danny Larsen, and featured on one of K2s old boards.

Still stoked on it today.

Yeah man I had wanted tattoos since 18 and finally took the plung at 33 years old, planned this out for a few months then found an artist and the artwork just lent itself to chest placement more than anywhere else. My logic at the time was that I didn't know how much tattoos hurt and had no frame of reference, so may as well just go full ham and get the chest piece right out of the gate.

The last hour was pretty brutal, the most painful bit was the antlers at the top and the very bottom of the tattoo near my stomach.

I've since had a smaller piece on the back of my shoulder and I barely felt it in comparison...so I was wise to go chest first.

That was my move as well. I went ribs and shin for my 1-2. Both pretty brutal but worth it. Now I'm getting my elbow ditch done on Sunday and I'm pumped. It's gonna fucking suck

Respect man. My old man is a sailor, he has two hearts on both sides one is my name other is my mom and ship between them, I’ve always thought chest is THE spot for tattoos. Kinda want to get one now too, but I have to get my arm done first. It’s funny, when I was a kid both my dad and my grandpa (he was a sailor too) made me swear I never get any tattoos, as they came from that age when tattoos weren’t cool. Well these days everytime I see my dad his first question is ”got any new ink?”
