My wife to be has had this idea for a sleeve for years, so for Christmas I got her a gift certificate to cover the line work and then I'm gonna cover the rest for her wedding gift. She sat for almost 5hrs like a champ! I'll get my next one after we finish this one up. The artist I found to do it does some of the best line work I've ever seen ... I'll get a better pic for you guys if you're interested

Thanks dudes! It took around 3 1/2 hours, so not too long really. But it did fucking suck. Holy shit the chest is a shitty place to get tattooed. We used a numbing spray or whatever, so for the shading my chest was pretty much sedated which was nice/weird. Without it it would have been a 2 session thing for me for sure, or just taken a hella lot longer if I had to do it in one sitting.

Those 13 year old sailor kids who got their chests tattooed were some tough ass kids..

Out here on the plains, they have tractor tires filled with water for the grazing cattle to drink from. I've done 2 years in wildland fire. We were doing some training with some job corps kids, and they asked what those tires were for. My buddy told the kids that those are cow's nests, without skipping a beat. I'll be in Mt. Hood, Oregon this year, so no more nest watching.

I just got the five icons from Jason Lee's American icons deck outlined on my leg yesterday. I've done several big skate graphic pieces on that leg but needed some smaller stuff to fill in the gaps, so these fit the bill nicely. At some point, maybe after they're colored/shaded I'll upload some pics.
