I don't get the hate

+ Current up to date footage of pro's skating

+ Wednesdays with Reda, ButteryAss Mondays ( I find the dudes hilarious, if you don't then don't fucking watch. no biggie.)

+ Current up to date footage of pro's skating

+ The Battle at the Berrics WAS entertaining and if you say otherwise you're just talking out of your ass to be different. " Skate is jockish " " Contests are lame " blah blah blah. I cannot imagine how anyone who skateboards not being entertained for a few min watching Mike Carroll and Koston play each other in a game of skate.

+ Current up to date footage of pro's skating

+ It's Free

You guys saying the site sucks are entitled to your opinion but just hating to hate is kinda lame. If you don't like watching skate park footy there isnt shit wrong with that. I'll admit watching new footage from the place does start to get boring with so much of the same shit being shown but I'm not fucking complaining. I'll take watching some new footy of the worlds best skating a fucking driveway and a box over not seeing anything new. The Berrics is a good thing and I'm glad it's gaining popularity.

Too much hating, but that's Slap for you. Full of bitter people, that cannot push a skateboard.

It's safe to say, that The Berrics have been an inspiration to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands. How often do you see kids doing first try fridays or starting a game of SKATE tournament? Or how many people have been inspired to build their own, personal indoor skatepark? People gossip about what's going on at the Berrics more than in a god damn skateboard video. That's how popular and influencial it is. I have only respect for Steve Berra, because he's the man behind it. He has probably worked very hard, to make the site what it is today. I couldn't care less, if he's a scientologist or not. A man has a right to believe what he wants.

Now, there are alot of sections in the Berrics. Lately, i've been feeling, that Donovan has ran out of ideas. I used to love Butteryass Mondays, but lately, it's kind of boring. It's inspirational, or just damn funny. I.E, the custom t-shirt thing or lasering "goomba cameraguys".

Wednesdays with Reda. I have nothing bad to say about that. It's always top notch!

Text yourself, before you reck yourself: Depends, who's holding the phone. If it's (for example) Kenny Anderson, then it's funny. If it's Ramondetta, then it's not that funny. "Yo Carrol, go get me 50 fucking nuggets!"

First try fridays usually put me to the edge of my seat. Makes you think how good people really are, that can to sick tricks first try. I'm not old or anything, but i usually have to warm up a bit, or my legs just don't work.

The battle commanders, recruits and united nations need no explanation. Always top notch!

The only bad thing, ever, was Zach the intern. Not funny, fat and i'm glad he's not there anymore.

I never got the feeling like any of them really cared if they won. I thought they were friends with Koston and Berra and the whole thing was just a way for them to fuck around and have a good time. I don't know man, I think you can start loving your skateboard again.

i wasn't really talking about the participants as much as the kids who watch it, take it seriously, then try to win every time they step on their board. these contests aren't helping kids become skateboarders, they're turning them into jocks that think winning is everything. how many kids do you know that take a game of SKATE seriously? try almost all of them therefore i feel these types of contests promote jock-like douchery.

of course this is all my opinion so please don't mistake my post for more than that.

How can you hate on any of these guys? The website is promoting skateboarding but not in a mainstream media ESPN sort of way, which is exactly what everyone on here always bitches about. It's showing anyone that visits the site that doesn't skate what skating is all about hanging out with all your bro's having fun. These guys are all well respected pro's that could be out whoring themselves out on the dew tour but instead they having some games of skate with the bro's. You just can't please some people. As for people bitching about everyones ego's? Do you know what an ego is? It's people with a feeling of self importance and thinking their better than everyone else... I have not seen one instance of that on the berrics. I think what your trying to describe as an ego is when Koston and Reda say funny shit to camera. Which I think you'll find is classified a little more under ''personality'' than ego. So when you say less ego, what your really saying is less personality?? C'mon. Koston rips, doesn't sell out and loves skateboarding, that should be enough to be in everyones good books right there.

You're right. Purely coincidental. No relation to L-Ron whatsoever. Few people know that Berra actually served in the Army Reserves during the early '90s.

The Berrics is probably some of my favorite entertainment right now. I'm not a Berra hater, and I'm another one that thinks Koston's funny as hell. I think it shows a fun side of skateboarding, plus anything with Reda involved is pure win.

faster - i would have disagreed with you completely if it wasnt for the fact that some random 14 year old kid that i don't know challenged me to a game of skate as soon as me and my boys rolled up to a spot....

as for the berrics itself, i'm a big fan. i can't hate on good skateboarding.
