savath & savalas - folk songs for trains, trees, and honey.

i don't care too much for scott herren's other work under this name, but this is an ideal album for night time listening.

Any classical music works for me. I ripped a few Yanni CDs that my dad had and I fell asleep in two minutes. I have such a hard problem falling asleep.

I've never understood how people listen to music while they go to sleep. I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it and I'd just feel kind of guilty for leaving it on all night.

Bosques de mi Mente is probably perfect. Just ambient piano pretty much, all his albums are linked to for free on the "Sounds Like:" part of the myspace.

I have a CD/radio/alarm clock so I use that. Also, it only takes a few tracks before I sleep. If the whole CD plays, it would still be less than sixty minutes. I used to put my iPod on shuffle and have my headphones on. It was a bad idea mainly because my headphones would only last around a month. I think the copper wire broke much quicker.

john frusciante's album the will to death or any mose allison album always helps me pass out. both are quite soothing.
