I have a really hard time believing you were jailed overnight for being totally compliant.  Maybe you did take your time pulling over, maybe you back talked him, I don't know.. You're definitely leaving part of the "I got cuffed and put in jail for 16hrs" story out...

You sound like a very enlightened individual.  There are certainly more details to the story but seeing as I have been charged with a crime and will have to defend myself in the future in court, I don't feel the need to divulge them to a bunch of strangers on the internet.  I pay a lawyer my hard-earned money for that.

Also since when is 'back-talking' a reason to go to jail and not a frequent and flagrant abuse of power by police.
