I remember seeing the green ad for that lipslide down eighteen at the end there in the mag when it came out and being amazed and proud that he was still, at that time, able to throw down with rowley size sets.

I have loved Ed since day one. I really really really love his parts in "Welcome to Hell" and "Jump off a Building" (the animal chin / video days of the 24 year-olds)

I think its Jump of a building, where his part and song abruptly stop. Fucking amazing. He had the best clothing style in the late 90s too.

One of my favorites ever. His Welcome to Hell part was so fucking good too. As well as Good and Evil. He's pretty much the anti-sheckler.

This was a really good part for Ed. I look forward to seeing more Ed in the Toy promo and Stay Gold, even if he doesn't have much.

This is so rad, I actually re-discovered and fell in love with this part again a few weeks ago and now this thread pops up. I really believe Ed's and Reynolds' parts are the most timeless sections in This Is Skateboarding. Classics.

And whatever happened to stage drop that Ed tries to kickflip into at the beginning of the part? I always kind of suspected that it was either destroyed or skatestopped, but does anyone have the real scoop? I always loved that spot.

ha i thought the same thing when i saw that spot, reminded me of other good older videos from around the same period.  on the whole, i think he has given as much to skating as anyone.  his style is timeless, i think his noseblunt, ollie gap line at the first spot he skates after his name appears is far and away the best thing done at there and that spot has been skated by everyone.

I always wondered how this board stayed on the rail at the end of his part
