Nothing at that shoe seems to be made for skating.

The only reason I can think of is that dylan made a joke about how he wanted his pro-model, but the designers didn't notice the sarcasm and made the shoe.

Those Gray slip-on joints are undeniably "scene", I mean sure, one may look good in them smoking a cigarette outside of a well know hipster hangout, but if one were to skate them, I'm really not so sure. Might aswell just saw your ankles off with a dull butter knife to spare yourself the pain of skating those.  all in all they definitely do-not cut it. On the contrary, it would be gnarly to see something published of Dylan legitimately skating something big in those shoes.
