Great idea guys. Let's just make skating 10 million times harder by putting you in shoes that bind your toes, have no grip, slip off your heels and make you embarrassed to be on your board because you look like a total twat.

Next Battle at the Berrics everyone has to wear clogs. That'll be some gnarly skating.

But those still have some ankle support.
Like Daewon said: if skateboarding is a ten story building, Rodney is on eleventh floor.

Nothing at that shoe seems to be made for skating.

The only reason I can think of is that dylan made a joke about how he wanted his pro-model, but the designers didn't notice the sarcasm and made the shoe.

he must have signed a contract worth alot because he clearly isnt worried about actually selling his shoe. nike and supra make the most embarrassing and ugly shoes around but atleast nerdy collecters and dumb kids will buy them, no ones going to buy that shit.

when your buzzed after a few margaritias..at some shindig, clockin ho's and you gotta split and have to skate home..you can still skate.
.but after one skate session in em..you can't go clock birds with some busted up "dress" shoes...
.maybe if ya got the pimp pack, as "name drop" said..."just bust your pimp pack at at watch them swarm." I said,"What's your pimp pack?" His reply was, "My BMW Keys, my I-phone and my bankroll." New shiny shoes not required.

I like to party!

15 quid in topman, stick a set of insoles from an actual pair of skate shoes and you're good to go. Get the DYLAN look, you're worth it.

Those Gray slip-on joints are undeniably "scene", I mean sure, one may look good in them smoking a cigarette outside of a well know hipster hangout, but if one were to skate them, I'm really not so sure. Might aswell just saw your ankles off with a dull butter knife to spare yourself the pain of skating those.  all in all they definitely do-not cut it. On the contrary, it would be gnarly to see something published of Dylan legitimately skating something big in those shoes.

^^^^One of the funnies names on this board along with Phantom Menace and Gordan Bombay.

Not a huge Dylan fan but those can be some Businetz shoes and I would hate them all the same. Such and ugly shoe. Gravis is having a hard time as is getting into the skate scene.....why fuck it up even more.

i actually think gravis has done a pretty good job at getting everyone to talk about their shoes.  publicity is publicity, good or bad.  you don't see a 4 page post on the latest deklines, right?  or any post at all for that matter....

I like 'em.  But the only way you could get me to skate in them is if I wore them to work and hopped on someone's board while walking home.
