Andy Mac reps Fly Bar Pogo Sticks, but we all know that he got his start as an X Games Gold Medalist in Skateboardering where he performed several aerial and axel grind variations.
i saw my grandma bail off a 4 set once in my house and she even got up and came to red lobster after.

So is Busenitz and Rommendetta being punks for repping SF now? Those guys are the epitome of the Bay Area skate scene now.

i think the whole thing is bull shit. whatever you feel right with. i dont think jereme, pj or gallant or claiming they are from boston....i think they more like to represent the memories they have from skating the city, i think the same goes for a lot of skaters. I always like kailis footage where hes repping where hes at. Sf with a giants hat on , Ny with a ny hat, philly with philly. I think thats tight, you are who you are whenever your at.

to me it would be like someone being born on some bum fuck island that they only spent a day of their life on, then going somewhere else that obviously had the big impact on their choices and career in life.  then they make it big, and act like the only place they ever lived before they got big was that bum fuck island.  that's the point i'm trying to get at.  but whatever.

for sure. I used to be bummed when people would end up outside of Chicago, and felt like they gave the city no love, but you move on, your life continues, and experiences continue to form who you are. If you are in New York every day, you live there, and you love it, why not rep it even if you aren't from there?

yeah but it doesn't matter because montana is fucking badass. I live in missoula. the local shop is Edge of the World, but they sell snowboards too which is gay. I buy my boards at 52 shop, which is also in missoula, because it is ran by skateboarders who skate for deluxe. The people at fifty two sell there boards for more than ten percent cheaper than regular shops because they actually care about the skate community.
Jeff Ammete, the bass player for pearl jam, lives 3 miles up the road from my house. theres a cover of the skateboardmag the has chet childress skating it. all in all, a lot of us montana skaters love montana because we can skate without cops yelling at us, and it is not rare to see somebody spraypaint the word MONTANA on there grip. I do it sometimes myself.

Bobby did live in Houston. I'm pretty sure til he was around 17.
He was a cool kid. Always at SouthSide.
I have absolutely no idea why he doesn't claim Houston.

My friend used to live in Houston and skate with him a lot. He said he thought he quit for bmx when he moved to D.C. He was hyped about how wrong he was.

its kind of lame when people cant rep the place that they're from...theres nothing worse than a traitor!  what i dislike is when someone moves to NYC(or some other city), lives here for a couple of years, then walks around telling people they're new yorkers or whatever city....really, you gotta stop kidding yourselves.  if you're from rhode island and spent the majority of your life there, you are NOT a new yorker.
me i wasn't even born in the US but i rep NYC.  i was born in korea, moved to brooklyn when i was 5, moved to upstate NY, went to college in NC for 4 years, moved back to NY after graduating and haven't looked backed.  out of the 33 years i've been alive i've spent 26 of them here in NY, its my home.

BTW, zered reps cape cod pretty hard. his first pro model on zoo said cape cod, i remember it had lobsters on it.
