the first dojo was not easy to skate..you had to go super fast to hit anything.

Maybe it's just a weird angle in the photo then, but it looks like a pretty short landing before you're thrust right into the wall there. Once again, not so easy to skate?

there's a corner you can't see in that photo- it's a big L shaped space. there'll be a way to not ram right into the wall.
the old one was fun because you had to go fast, but not the best flow in there. we made a short SLAP staff video in the old one to help out a kid we knew in film school a couple years ago. did you guys ever see that? not trying to self-hype at all, just to show the park for anybody who might not know what's being discussed. i can post a link if you guys are interested.

ok...

it's erik (art director here), dwayne (doesn't work here anymore, was a designer), and me. and then at the end, drew is the kid who was in film school. 2006 i think. we filmed for like 30 minutes once a week or so over maybe two months, nothing major. anyhow, this is the old TF. looking forwards to the new one!

that 411 article was from '96- you've got a good memory. it was a weird think/adrenaline/santa cruz/creature trip with like 20 dudes and no team manager, i was the filmer on the trip. fun days.
