Ok, and what is popular in the ghetto doesn't make shit look good.  Fucking shirts down to your knees and shorts stopping at the ankle look fucking dumb.  Right now style seems to win over substance, but that is an immediate thing.  I think everyone is well aware that TK won't be the next Kareem Campbell, or Stevie Williams, his skateboard ability for being a pro is mediocre at best and he will be more or less forgotten in the next 5 years or so.  So good for him, see the opportunity and take it, make some money.  Mark my words though, in a few years there will be a warehouse full of this ugly ass shoe.  You are looking at the next D3.  There will be no legacy around it like the Sal 23 or the half cab which is where the real money is made.  What the fuck do I know though, credibility might not mean shit anymore either

what are shoes used for? walking, skating, hiking... and they're supposed to wear out, eventually. but sneakerheads cop 200 dollar shoes and flaunt them as some sort of holy grail of success. shoes that are worn not for walking or skating... but for looking at. defeating the purpose of the item in the first place

same with tv's. high definition tv's? what the fuck? i'll watch some history channel or some news every now and then but what is so necessary about seeing things in high definition? it doesnt (at least, for me) enhance any experience. tv is tv is tv... and the media/capitalism impresses into the general public the desire for such unnecessary fringes
