F it shameless plug of my band’s recent Halloween tape. We may do a Euro tour this coming summer if I can get the time off work, hope it works out

That kicks some butt.

If you come to Switzerland you should do a show with my homies, the Lakeside Jerks.

That would be so fitting haha, what’s the city in Switzerland to play?

I would say Zurich but there are cool venues and squats in many cities all over the country. I have lost touch a bit but if you‘re really considering coming over here I could try and find out more.
why come?

Just wanted to follow up on this and say thanks for a recommendation but unfortunately time constraints are forcing us to go straight from Munich to Italy and we won’t have time for a Switzerland show. Damn shame but it’s hard to squeeze it all in in the amount of time you can get off work when you got a day job :(

Was feeling nostalgic about bands I used to see in small-town Canada as a teen/uni student. SNFU, DOA, Dayglo Abortions, Chixdiggit, Knucklehead, Nomeansno/ Hanson Brothers, etc.

One of them was Ripcordz, had this on cassette and was always on in the car.

Not sure if there’s a folk punk section, so I guess this’ll go here.

The mentioned above I SPY and Johnny Hobo and the freight trains have been on my list for a long time. Not so popular and deffinately underrated, but so fucking good!
Here is my favorite bulgarian punk band, that unfortunatley doesn't exist anymore. They are good friends of mine from the old skate generation that got me into the skate and punk scene here.

The mentioned above I SPY
my work here is done! ISPY is such a great band.
The boys who do the propgandhi podcast did a fuck the border episode which is basically just an oral history of ISPY if you are that way inclined?

14 yr old punk kid asks me what punk rock means to me now and all I could say was that I don't listen to a lot of punk now but it's forever in my heart and shaped my social and political awareness when I was your age. Old ass hippy

Folk punk should be banished from the planet.
