this shit is pretty cheesy for anyone who actually skateboards or is over the age of like 10, but if the show gets some kid stoked on skating who would otherwise do something like baseball, then i guess its not too bad.

in a way it would be cooler if they got into baseball...how many kids do you see out there practicing their slider or whatever?

As for me, I've already started forcing my kids to watch 20 shot--especially the Menace section

when i was in 8th grade, i auditioned in new york city for a show just like this but for nickelodeon. i was 14, probably pushing mongo, and completely clueless. i couldn't be more grateful that the 'opportunity' didn't work out. i would've been the token black guy. they really shouldn't take advantage of children like this.
