I understand that, but what I don't understand is why even after parks like this are made, those in recreational depts. that oversee the building of public parks don't take these into consideration when it comes time to start planning. Its obvious that when it comes down to it, its much cheaper to pay some large company to throw a bunch of disproportionate shit-ramps in a tennis court. However, these Frankenstein'd pieces of fuck end up being a huge waste financially anyways when they sit there rotting away unused as people end up migrating to parks such as Burnside instead of wasting their time there.
