doesn't appleyard and some of the australian's like duncombe wear cut offs from time to time?

this is the one trend in skating that i really don't understand. shorts were ok for ages and then at some point it's like switch flipped and people were wearing jeans in 100 degree weather skating. i understand that if you're filming you want your footage to look legit but if you're not filming then why not wear something more comfortable?

ive been rocking the cut offs real hard this summer. if i didnt i wouldnt be able to move my legs from all the sweat sticking to my jeans.

never had a problem with them after that. but for some reason i hate socks with shorts. shorts and sockless is just asking to have your shins destroyed, but getting those weird tan rings for 4 inches below your knees is too weird.

I don't know what my problem is but I swear I'm allergic to shorts. Maybe I just need to take the plunge shop a pair or two I like. But I hate shopping and know what jeans I like.

I skate every day in the AZ heat in jeans, sometimes 100 degrees plus.

i had a pair of cords that i bought off some dude who cut em into shorts. i wore them a couple of times in the summer, then i lost them. i'll actually look for them when it heats up.

houston's been gnar except the last few days

i used to care and would just deal with pants but these days i'm completely out of the scene and don't really give a fuck anymore so i got my shorts kit worked out for summer skating these days. for me it was all about finding the right shoe\sock combo so you don't come off looking like fred durst.
