what does everyone use as a brownie recipe? I tried one that just said to mix in about 5-6 grams with a quarter cup of vegatable oil, then combining that with the regular brownie mix instead of making cannabutter. Didnt work too well though, only got a slight body buzz.
did you heat the veg oil with your weed? You gotta bring it to just the right level of sizzle, not too hot so your burning off thc with every bubble that pops to the top, but not so low that your not getting the THC to separate from the herb itself (which you also then strain out of the oil before adding to the mix, because the only thing that, now dark brown, spent weed is gonna do, is make your baked goods taste like someone put dirt in 'em)
If done right, it totally works, but if youre a little off (too fast too slow too hot too cold) then you won't get the full high.
Butter IS the way to go if you have a choice or can do both.
I've just found the oil method to be a little quicker and more dummy proof in getting SOME level of result even when you fuck it up a little.
