Pro Tip: record some of your freestyles (alone or with friends, doesnt matter) & listen to them twice. once while paying attention to every word & again while your doing something else like cleaning your room or some shit, with the music sorta in the background. it creates a feedback loop where your mind sorta "trains" itself as to what sounds good & what doesnt. do it a few times & i guarentee youll notice improvement.

yeah the key is just keep rolling with it no matter how much you stumble. i do this as a songwriter so sometimes i might fuck up & go like, 12 bars of straight rambling but when i go back over it i can come up with new flows based off that & just fill in the right words. like i said, when you fuck up & notice you keep falling into the same patterns, your mind picks up on that subconsciously & youll eventually get more & more on point. freestyling with friends is definitely fun as hell tho. always a great thing to do in large groups of drunk and/or high people lol.
