the only reason i hate colored trucks is because these days skateboarding has some goofy bs on the trucks. so now i just get whatever raw trucksa i can find. and i turn my graphics inside out NoT to preserve the graphic but i just cant stand seeein the graphic. im waaaay too lazy to go shop hoppin for plain wheels too  :-\

In sixth grade I ordered a complete from CCS. It was a pink and black zero deck with black phantom 2 trucks and pink pig wheels. i thought that shit was the coolest thing ever.

I usually run white wheels, but I just bought a set of green/orange Spitfires. I like the shape and they look cool with the Cardiel board I bought with it. White, colored... it doesn't make a difference. They all wear out eventually.

And I rock raw Thunders highs.

I usually get the cheapest wheels I can get cause Im always running new wheels, then some raw 139 indys. I can do the colored baseplate but when their neon orange dip or something it kinda makes me feel like I'm 12.

Colored grip sucks, but when people get crazy with the cut outs and paint pens it can be pretty fucking cool. Or it can be lame, depending on who is doing it

i dont know, i kinda like grinding my white w/gold baseplate indy reynolds trucks, i take pride in the missing spots of paint where theres just raw silver underneath.  and i know this is probably ridiculous but i've been rocking the 2 neon pink 2 neon blue spit classics, wheel-wise i dont care what the color is as long as it starts with s and ends with pitfire :D

I wouldn't mind multi-colored wheels. It's an '80s thing.

yeah i've seen some bad grip tape art at my local park
'buttery-ass board'
'8.25...like riding a buick' <yeah be a dick and let everyone know your board is too big for you
and any random taggings

i usually just use a Lemmy stencil i made and i made a gg allin one too 8)

and silver indy's and white wheels are the best but right now i got the slash mash ups, like green and orange but i could give less of a fuck about colored wheels, thats racist

True, I'm not feeling this "whites only" approach. Shame on you guys.

They have to colour wheels to make them white. The urethane they make wheels out of is naturally beige colour.

It's turning pretty scary here with everyone swearing allegiance to the white wheel. Y'all gonna mount a lynch mob and head down to the nearest skate store to roun' up all dem coloured wheels?

Silver indy's + White spitefires ( the less logo the better), thats all you need no more or no less.

I had that porn grip and it wore out super fast (like 2 days or something, it was rad to look at though).

EXACTLY THE REASON I WOULD NEVER RIDE THAT SHIT.

im pretty sure it was AWH distributed because i remember seeing a Vanik Hacobian ad on Strange Notes and he cant skate the rail cause he gets a boner

I remember it being made by NHS and it was called Roofies grip.

I used to run tons of orange Pig wheels cuz Ed Templeton always had orange wheels...Haven't had colored wheels in probably 8 years, but I bet it wouldn't be too hard to skate some.

Colored trucks are pretty weak, but all solid white or black isn't too bad.

The worst thing is wheel graphics in general. I cut them off with a razor.
i saw my grandma bail off a 4 set once in my house and she even got up and came to red lobster after.

Painted trucks, dipped boards, and colored/swirly wheels are fine to me if they ride OK. The griptape would bother me though, just black please.

Edit: having said that, most of my wheels are white (Streetburners) and most of my hangars are chrome finished. Lots of dipped boards though, they feel like a slick for the first few days.

That stuff was the worst. You could pick away the grit on it with your fingernail so all that was left was the sticky backing.

Kids loved it though. I spent days gripping Wet Willy boards with that stuff.

colored grip never has and never will make sense to me. i need it to be black on the top, nothing else.  although i usually get grip with a diecut logo in it to differentiate nose from tail

A line makes it easier than looking to see what subtle size difference there is between nose and tail
