You can do a brew in bag setup and make like 2.5 gallons on your stove pretty easily

i was enjoying this gem of an Oktoberfest up until recently.

typically though, I go through a steady rotation of Urquell, Santa Fe Pale Ale (possibly the most enjoyable, sessionable pale ale I've ever had) and a witbier like La Cumbre's Slice of Hefen or Avery White Rascal.

For Thanksgiving im going to brew this IPA ive been messing around with in my head. Went to Other Half last night and had some pretty tasty beers. Their Imperial Stout Weve Been Out Here In Orbit was amazing. The presence of coffee in that one will please any coffee fanatic. Their Greenbacks IPA was a nice treat too. Definitely worth  the growler fill. I didn't know they brewed so much Street Green. I thought last Saturday was a one and done. Limited brew. Needless to say my week long sourness went away last night. I bought a few growlers of it and their other beers. If anyone wants some Street Green they should have it on tap for a while. Also next weekend is the Simcoe and Hop Showers can release.

If you like in the Appalachian part of VA TN or NC then you need to check this place out.
I had some of the honey cream ale and it was amazing.

had not heard about Oskar Blues.  source?

i know they just bought Golden Road in LA, which no one really cares about since their beer was so so

so far AB-InBev has acquired:

Goose Island
Blue Point
10 Barrel
Elysian
Golden Road

sure it's only a matter of time before they get more.

Source is the guy from Founders. Hes told me about all these beer deals and so far hes been 100% right. Hes to invest in his own thing and dropped the ball drunkenly at a BBQ I was at. A friend of mine who works for Hunterdon confirmed as well on some of these.

it's all pretty crazy.  and a bummer.

luckily there will always be smaller up and coming craft breweries.  and the ones who will never sell out

it's kind of frightening how with all these acquisitions they have the ability to still give consumers the the illusion of choice.

I really hope the Oskar Blues thing isn't true. My wife and I have a good friend that works there, and I would hate to see her have to work for those InBev douchers.

Well, they're a multi-national corporation, so buying out all of the things makes pretty good sense to that.
