Wow, I guess a lot of you don't care at all about the progression of skateboarding? Because the progression of skateboarding has always depended on the kids. They see the videos and take it to the next level for their generation. Those little kid rippers end up pushing the sport. Guy, Reynolds, Hawk, Way... all of these guys were the Nyjahs of their time. Hating on the future of skateboarding just doesn't make sense, and is pretty laughable if you think aboout it.
And also... I know I've heard Ed Templeton AND Mike Carroll say that they started companies so that they could make themselves pro and keep that status. No one is going to tallk shit on them for it though. No hypocrisy there, no sir. SLAP is, like, so "core"!
