Pardon me for stating the obvious, but John Cardiel could do things that 99% of all humanity could never do. On the other hand, 99% of all humanity can smoke weed. It doesn't take any talent, it's not a special gift, it's something any loser can accomplish. So they get him to answer our questions and that's the best you can come up with? Embarrassing, to say the least.

Prior to Zumiez, You couldn't get Emerica in a mall...Etnies yes, but Emerica no. Unless in other parts of the country they have other skate mall shops. Vans and Etnies were always at pacsun or journeys, but even those werent around when I was younger.

Wrong. Zumiez pre-dates Emerica. That shit shop has been around since at least '92. I remember the year because I was right out of high school when it first reared it's fugly head. I'd bet money that when Emerica first came out they could be found in Zumiez and I'm sure that pulled in major cash for Sole Tech. Big money.
