dennis by far. i think cole is a contender, but there's always been a clear difference in the quality of their skating that puts dennis ahead in any type of comparison to me. maybe it's just me though, but i feel like if dennis doesn't win it this year, skateboarding needs to call bullshit.

How is buesnitz winning? he put out one lame part and that's it. Shane oniell is the only skateboarder that's put out two good parts this year, but he could never win because he's am, and he's actually amazing.

i dont understand how you guys can hardly mention leo as a almost sweep in. buesnitz is deffinitly an amazing skateboarder but hes had one video part that was really good but every ad leo has put out was so amazing his interview was nuts and his rvca part was really good and was like a emerica throwaway part. Also probably one of the most smazing gnarly covers in skateboarding mags, I would assume stay gold will come out before they announce soty and i mean comon leos gonna have last part, hes gonna fuck shit up and deserves soty more than anyone

leo. he had that full rvca part. the up-rail frenzy cover/interview in skateboarder. he just had that 'in photos' feature in the newest skateboarder mag.

plus all of his up rail footage, demo killings (zumiez couch tour, united park or w/e), upcoming emerica (probably) last part. also wasn't there talks of a toymachine promo dropping this year?

and did anyone see his welcome ad for toymachine? that 5-0 on that long as rail? fucking sick.

i think he deserves more than busenitz. shoot me

ok, other mags interviews and covers DONT count towards SOTY. Its all thrasher content/covers and then there's video parts that have been put out
whoever has a better part in phelps eyes and has more coverage in thrasher will take it

I've just recently been very stoked on Grant Taylor. He skates proper. Wehereas dennis busenitz consistantly stokes the fire.

I heard Heath has beef with Thrasher, so it's unlikely to be him. As much as Leo has been killing it this year (and every other one) my money's on Busenitz. But if Stay Gold and the Real video drop this year, it may be too close to call.
