wii homebrew channel/usb loader

i hope somebody on here has some experience with this.
i've got homebrew channel installed, and it works. i can play emulators and other shit. no problem there.
i'm trying to find a way to load iso's from my external hard drive. apparently there's some way to install a usb loader. i tried installing one called coverfloader with no luck. i've consulted with google and asked him for a clear tutorial but haven't found shit.
so if anybody knows or has a link to a good tutorial tell me.
