I got what I want for indestructible cruiser version 3.0 pretty much dialed, just gotta order it, haven't committed yet

9" Powell flight popsicle (14.5" wb)(graphics will be removed or covered up)
Powell hardcore grip (pizza style, supa chunky)
Seismic polyethylene 9mm thick tail skids
Button-head hardware
1/4" lil jawns slop jars risers
Indy hollow stage 4 MFW
Seismic 6-ball ceramic built-in bearings
Powell 59mm G-Slides 85a

The 59mm wheels and 1/4" risers make the pop angle steep as hell, but with the tail skids(which I need anyway because razor tail is always the death of my cruisers)it evens it back out to the same angle as 53mm wheels with no risers on the same trucks

Might put flanged nuts(grind king rims style lol) on the axles and grease on the axle and bearings(will be skating in rain)

Previously skated in the rain with ceramic Reds with extra speed cream

Worked well but there was still a lil maintenance required. Built-ins and Phil Wood grease are my solution to that.

Probably also gonna put lil jawns rails on there

Powell makes a bunch of great stuff but not cool enough for my image so I'm going to go out of my way to buy their shit, announce it, but also hide it. ;)

Oh naw I skate blanks 99% of the time and don't want some like, shiny foil skeletons graphics

If they had a board that even literally just said Powell on it, cool.

Just kidding and based on the hate I see on Powell, mainly only on these forums.

Yeah the whole YouTubey thing and the graphics, makes it seem like a kids brand

Those flight decks and soft slide wheels are kickass though

If they had a flight board with rad graphics I wouldn't have to take em off but that doesn't seem to happen over there

I have a couple of them that are still snappy and I've ridden them in the rain and through puddles hella times, with spitfire 80HDs...

I basically want to build a new one but with skids for the razor tail and wheels I can actually slide.. should last a looong time

Polar Hjalte 8.75 WW(got another one on ice)
Pepper Grip
Ace Hardware
Ace AF1 Hollow 60
Swiss 6
56mm Dragon 88a Neil Blender

Adidas Puigs
Autumn Glow
Detritus

Most reached for cruiser. Almost got serviced right before this pic. That's a path in a forest preserve under all that. Never been here before, came around the corner and headed down the hill into the woods. Picked up speed as the amount of shit on the path got worse and worse until it looked like the pic. Was up to speed so couldn't bail, had to ride it out into a tight backside turn at the end. Def got the heart rate up.

Word Is Bond 9" Egg Shape dipped in Black
Thunder 161's with 94a Independent Bushings
Spitfire 56mm 93a Soft Sliders. (Honestly might be switching them between these and the Dragons. Dragons are way better for filming because they actually feel like a soft wheel. These probably feel like just a bit softer than F4 99a's but honestly skate really good. So I'm in a huge dilemma.)
Spitfire Classics
Mob Grip
Shorty's 1 inch Phillips Hardware
Shake Junt Riser Pads
