I don't see any connection from a skateboard 540 to a snowboard 540. A 360 is the first big hurdle, if you know how to do them on one terrain, it might be easier to do it on another. But technically they're way different...or aren't they?
I snowboard goofy and skate regular (must be some childhood trauma), so linking snowboard tricks to skateboarding seems kinda hard...

i can already do 360's both ways and switch backside and i credit the latter to snowboarding. i am planing on going to these steep trails that go down a pretty big hill with all these natural jumps two streets up from me that i go to a lot and i go once or twice a week to an actual mountain. i have landed on a few 540's skating(early garp off the side of a quaterpipe) so i assume if i could learn them along with a bunch of other stuff in the pipe i would get over my fear of doing tricks in ramps that are over six feet. then bombing hills skating feels better because you can push a lot faster at the top and carve less
about the different stances thing i know a few kids like that. i guess it is a normal thing

i push mongo on my razer scooter between spots...it really revitalizes the muscles in my left leg, for extra rocketship pop during skateboard contests...
