I was recently hired, through a placement agency, with a company called Dover Flour. So yeah! About the Dover Mills Flour Factory... well you see, they have a warehouse, and a mill. They put me in the mill. This mill, is huge. I mean massive. In the time I was there, I saw at least 5 large rooms full of machinery. Now, before this morning, I was never told exactly what I'd be doing.

You remember those 5 massive rooms I was talking about? Well, everything in them, from the walls, to the machines, to the floors, are COVERED in flour dust. Did I mention yet how these rooms are loud and dusty as fuck, so you constantly need a hairnet, facemask and earplugs in them? Well you do. So back to my job.

My duty was to take the little handbrush they gave me, and clean ALL the dust and flour off of the walls, machines, floors, and every single tiny crevice. On all fours, with a fucking handbrush. Now there was a broom for the floors, but with all the huge, dangerous machines running in there, you were on your knees more than your feet.

By lunchtime.. my knees hurt, my back hurt, my fingers felt as if I had arthritis, I had dust in my eyes, nose and mouth, I even got a blister from the shitty ass handbrush. So rather than stay and go through 3 more hours of the worst job I've ever had, I made a run for it. Did anyone see me? I don't know. I don't care either. I was supposed to call or stop by the job bank afterwards, and let them know how it went.

I'm sure they'll get the message, and when they call, I'll say "I'm sorry to let you down, you probably won't want to help me anymore. But that was the most physically uncomfortable and mentally un-stimulating work I've ever done. I couldn't take another minute of it." Call me a pussy, but had you been in my boots, you would've been over it immediately as well.

In my office, my cubicle is across the hall from the little work out room. For the past twenty minutes I have been listening to one woman tell another woman what happened on Top Chef last night. I swear, after talking about it for twenty minutes they are only 10 minutes into the show. It's a lot of "He made what" "ewwww" "I hate her" and that sort of shit. Shut the fuck up, bitches.

i just went downstairs to check out the snow and i get to the first door in the hall and open it walk by it and it starts closing behind me and it sounds like someone was tapping on the door. when i cam back in it felt like something was pushing against the door then it suddenly stopped. i've also heard stuff from in the kitchen moving(plates moving and shit) while i am in the room nect to it and i knew for a fact that no one was in there

Haha yeah I have the same problem and it's terrible for my school work. When I first moved into my place I didnt have internet for a month and thought that I was over it but now I'm always on it when I'm at home.
