I got my haircut yesterday....and I'm not that stoked on the way it's cut.....I fuckin' look like Vanilla Ice...circa 1990

i was in tower records today. searched through the mag racks for anything interesting, and to my luck found Kingpin mag with the free alis who cares dvd. i went home, popped it in the dvd player only to find out its in pal format. sacrificed $12.50 for nada.

It should work in your computer if it plays dvds. If not, hopefully one of your friends have one of the dvd players that play both pal and ntsc formats. That really is a crappy feeling though when you buy a video and you're really excited to watch it and you get home only to discover something is wrong. That happened to me with LA County.

That really is a crappy feeling though when you buy a video and you're really excited to watch it and you get home only to discover something is wrong. That happened to me with LA County.

I bought Mouse on DVD off the internet awhile back from some company that copies out of print skatevideos onto DVD. It wouldnt work on my vcr though, I have a generic brand vcr and the dvd company was from a different country so maybe thats why. Luckily my brother had left his vcr last time he was visiting and it plays all his bootleg dvds and it worked on that and I copied Mouse onto vhs before he took the vcr and returned to mexico.

I came downstairs this morning and found that one of the windows I thought the Contractor fixed a couple of years back started to fucking leak again. At least the water accuumulated on the sill and didn't get on the floor.

i live in southern cali and to be honest I love rain, we rarely see any down here and when we do it cleans the air(San Fernando basin is the most polluted air in America) and cools down our often sauna like weather. In fact this is probably the first time it has really rained for about eight months. Staying on topic though-heat really fucking bugs me and makes it a bitch to go skate, we get just about year round heat here.

A few hours ago while I was lurking on Slap I got these terrible, sharp pains in my lower abdomen and my "man stuff". I couldn't piss or even really move for that matter, so I went to the hospital and found out that I was having an urethra spasm!?!? I had never heard of this before, but I can tell you it was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. Just as they were getting ready to stick a tube up my you know what because I had a ton of urine inside me the spasm let up a little and I had the best piss ever. Anyways everything should be cool and I got this medicine that is supposed to make my piss look like fruit punch, so I guess it was all worth it.........

I might bitch about the rain up here, but the heat down in So Cal is way worse.

I grew up down in Orange County and one of the main reasons I moved up here in the first place is the So Cal heat. I moved back down (to Los Angeles proper while my girlfriend at the time attended UCLA) a couple of years after I moved to the Bay Area and just remember sitting in my apartment with all the windows open at like 6:30 AM and thinking to myself, "I'm going to melt".

There's also no Santa Ana winds up here.

I guess this doesn't really fit with the topic of "things you're NOT stoked on", but whatev's.
