I just can't find a job I can tolerate.  Every un-skilled gig I take, be it kitchens/labour/retail, makes me feel like a stupid sheep.  The pressures of the real world are making me wonder if life is worth spending 40 hours a week doing something you hate.  I'm a disappointment to everyone I've ever known.  I can't expect anyone to love me when I'm not happy with myself.  When I go to bed I'm plagued with a never-ending barrage of thoughts of times I've blown it in the past.

Ha, I didn't realize he changed it. I was wondering why you had such a problem with a baby panda.

And Kev, go fly a kite or climb a tree or something. I used to be a totally depressed mofo too, but if you try and change the way you look at the world, and realize how weird everything is...I really don't know how to explain it, but I definitely noticed a change in the way I felt when I changed my perceptions of things and make a conscious effort to be more optimistic. But I also now when you're really in a hole it's hard to do much of anything, but just try to live through it and appreciate a rainbow every once in awhile or something, and you'll find your life a lot happier. Listen to Animal Collective, too.

And un-skilled labor jobs are supposed to suck, that's motivation to actually get an education so you can do something worth your life that you actually enjoy.

Doesn't having an "educated" job mean you have more pressure and less free time?  I don't see how fixing pipes or pushing numbers will feel any more rewarding than peeling veggies or working in a call centre.

My friend who's grown up in group homes suggest I look into youth care work.  But I don't know if I'd be able to forget about the kids when I left for the day.

Well then don't become a plumber or an accountant. Find something you enjoy doing and figure out a way to turn that into your career. It's not like someone's choosing your job for you, by being better educated you can choose what you want to do, and won't be limited to the basic mindless work that you're forced into with just a highschool diploma.

For me an education means I work 7:30 to 3pm m-f, and never take my work home. Oh yeah and 3 weeks at Christmas and almost 3 months in the summer time.

I do construction for a contractor buddy on the side and it's fun; but I thank God I can take it or leave it as I choose. As a career that shit's brutal.

You mean there's a course that allows you to professionally sleep in late, eat clubhouse sandwiches, and ride bicycles to the skatepark?

Dude, you are NOT stoked on Juice?? I'm 30, how old are you? I would like to know how anybody over the age of 25 could not like Juice.

Did you read any of the interviews, at least?!!!

I mean, to me, to have my girl bring home the latest issue of Juice, and complaining about it, is like having her bring home, to me, and brand-new set of SWISS, and complaning because I only ride six-ball SWISS, or some shit like that.

You need better battles to fight if your battle is hating Juice.

P.S. Ask VeganShawn if you need more direction.

My kook, Dudes. Straight up, I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm no fucking weirdo.

kooks hurt more than you might think!!!

P.S. Alexactly, I did some research, and I figured out that you kook'd me first. At first I thought it was damian, but then I realized I don't even know if he listens to Reggage, "BECAUSE JAH NO WANT ISM!" "IT IS RASTAFARI, NAE RASTA-ISM."

Fuck an "ISM", I say, b/c I think JAH is probably smarter than G. W. Bush, and G.W.H. Bush on their best day, combined mulitiplied by 2.

"WE RUN TINGS, TINGS NAH RUN US."

P.P.S. I'm not shaking too much about the kook; I'm moderate Internet hommies with 1992. 1992, I used to use your hip-hop suggestions to burn CDS for my weed dealer a couple years ago.

modifiy:

P.P.P.S Sorry I can't find the appropriate thread right now for this, dudes, but those 2 gnars I just got like six seconds ago seriously helped. Apreesh you.

Sometimes I don't even know if I kook or gnar. I just kinda swing the cursor over towards the name and hit the button.

I had that too one time
but if I kook'd instead of gnarred, I apologized
