bump.

i'll be in the market for a car soon, and because of some multi-level marketing involvement i can have a decent car paid for by the company, as long as it falls in the 25,000 - 40,000 price range. i just found out about this today, and im hella wicked stoked. i'm not really into cars (i currently drive a '97 buick lesabre), and i'm still debating what i want to get. Thinking of purchasing a new infiniti G37, or possibly an '06 bmw 6 series.
what does slap have to say on my potential picks? im open to all suggestions

I'm a Cadillac mechanic for a living.
Race SCCA Autocross in a 1991 240sx.
I am the go-to guy in Louisiana for building or tuning on Hyundais and Nissans.

Not really into cars as in tuning them or anything, but I like them and I love driving. Wish i was more mechanically inclined. I've got this Datsun 510 I used to drive that's off the road now, until i can afford to have some work done to it. It's gotta be a second vehicle too, it's not the most comfortable daily driver. I got the 4runner so i could get out of the city as much as possible.

Mazdaspeed 3 wagon. Or an E46 BMW M3 but you're on the right path if you're looking for a 6 series.

^how do you like the hyundai tiburon?

I love them, as I have had 2 myself.
My first one was a 2003 GT V6 6spd.
Was very competitive in the type of racing I do.
Great little car, and when I got stupid and drove drunk, It held up great in the crash.
Before the wreck, I never had a single problem with it. Very comfortable, quick, great handling. Overall, a nicely put together car.

My other Tiburon was a 2006 GS 5spd. (2.0ltr 4 cylinder)
I did a full engine build and turbo kit with it. (8.3:1 comp. GT3071R turbo @ 16psi.)
Made 356whp/344wtq and ran a 12.88 @ 108 on M/T's.
I just recently sold this one last week.

I put in an order for the Tiburon's replacement, the 2010 Genesis Coupe.
I'm getting the 2.0T R-Spec package. It should be in sometime in February :)

I would definitely suggest a Tiburon to anyone looking into them.
I would get another one if a clean 07-08 body style came around.

I don't mean to plug a website, but if you wanna know more about Tiburons, I'm an admin over at www.crookedh.com
My names "I_drive_naked"

G37's are great for the money.
Also look at Cadillac CTS's. Thats the nicest car cadillac has on the road right now, and we have the least amount of problems with the 2008+'s.
Also, Hyundai Genesis Sedan's are very damn comfortable.

I just checked in a CTS wagon last week at work.
It's nice, but aside from the extra space, the interior is exactly the same as a regular CTS.

You get a damn good car for the money with the Genesis Sedan.
It has a Lexicon sound system in the fully loaded V8 model. Same audio on Rolls Royce/Bentley.
The sound quality is fucking incredible.
Great ride, handling, plenty of power, good mpg. I hate to be a dick rider, but Hyundai is hard to beat right now.
I drove one last week when I was at the dealership. If I was in the market for a "luxury car", I'd be all over it.
It's quality is comparible, if not higher than the 5-Series BMW and the Lexus IS series.
I just ordered a 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-spec that should be here in February.
After tt&l and down payment, it cost me $15,680.
So beyond anxious for it to arrive.

This is my dream car, BMW 2002 Turbo. What a delicious little number of a car
