First of all, all great photos.
Second of all, I really like this application of translating what a magazine is to the digital format. Article + photo + soundtrack 'just works'.
Now for feedback from a usability standpoint -- I love the way the entire page is in frame at once, and that the user controls the 'zoom'. It does feel more like how one reads the text on a page with a photo spread. However, right now the zoom window is a static zoom field. I think I would prefer if the zoom acted like a death lens, in which the middle target text was much larger, but you still could see the text before and that which follows (though smaller). This, of course, would not be ideal for the photographs. Maybe linear zoom on click, logarithmic zoom on ctrl+click would provide the best of both worlds?
