I have a really wide stance when I do them; front foot over the front bolts, back foot on the corner of the tail. I hang the heel of my back foot off much farther than for sw shuv or 180, and kick the fuck out of it right as I pop. I find that helps get the back foot around 180 much easier, so it feels like (I know it sounds cliche, but...) the board is catching up to my popping foot. If I wind up too much for it, it either flips or overspins, so my feet get around 180 before the rest of my body does. My front foot doesn't do much except catch it.
