I have a friend who recently moved/got forced out his last place due to some disagreements between him, and one of his other roommates. Dude went behind my friends back and rented his room out and made my friend sleep on the couch for the last 15 days he was there. Leading into the title of this thread and what this story has to do with freezing, the cocksucker shut the heat off upstairs where my friend was currently surfing the couch. On top of that he would steal my friends blankets night to night and would refuse to give them back.
Eitherway, it's a balmy 9 or 11 here on the West coast of canada, 48 to 50 for all you merrricans'
Sounds like he was a shitty roommate, his other roommates decided they wanted him out and gave him the boot, then after the obvious "get the fuck out of here" clue, he kept crashing on the couch. Eventually, they had to shut the heat off on him and blatantly disrespect for him to figure out that he needed to get the fuck out of there. I have known people like that, and have NO sympathy for your friend.
This isn't creative writing class. Nor choose your own adventure. I understand you are jaded as fuck, but am I battling your old tattered ass all across this board today?
Great story/interpretation on what you think went down drawing from your own personal experience. Albeit I disregard everything you say, I aswell have no respect for shitty roommates.
The disagreeing roommate is a shut-in, lives in the basement and due to the shitty craftsmanship of the house, can hear every waking noise that happens upstairs. This was his premise for kicking my friend out. His actions were completely out of line and the fact that he took the position of landlord was outrageous. Said friend always paid rent on time, graciously cleaned up after himself, and sure, there were a couple saturday nights before the bar that may have been a little louder than tolerable, but still, these incidences were isolated.
Now if you're going to rebut this, think twice. And fuck off instead.
I've never been kicked out of a house, but have had to kick piles of shit like your friend out before. The fact that your friend was unwanted is obvious. The fact that he didn't have enough self-respect or friends to go crash somewhere else further proves he was a shitty human
Your assumptions baffle me. How can you create shit out of thin air like that? Sure he was unwanted, but it was not warranted. Clearly you can't see, nor will ever see that the other roommate was a complete asshole/borderline mental patient. You don't know him, so what makes you think you can tell stories like this? Realistically my friends name was on the lease, so, he could have been a complete piece of shit and just not left. continuing to sleep on the couch until the landlord stepped in, which he wouldn't have because the ex-roommates argument had no solidity. but he didn't, he paid a months rent, slept on the couch for under a week and jetted. All while having to deal with frigid temperatures and getting his blanket jacket nighty.
now go formulate your rebuttal with all your fellow old folks home residents, you old faggot.
I don't care if you call me old. Go for it. The thing about getting kicked out of a house, is the way you know you are wrong, is you get kicked out of the house. If you are an unwanted roommate, being kicked out is absolutely warranted. That's how it works, young man. You'll learn once you get older and wiser. He didn't leave, he stayed. If it was bad, why didn't he move out? He wanted to live there, but lacked the ability to get along with his roommate, and got his ass kicked out. In the end, when he got kicked out, why did he stick around that house? Didn't he know anybody better to stay with? Obviously not, as he chose to stay with people who obviously hated him.
I'm not pulling stuff out of thin air, I am taking a story that you are telling with a clear bias to your friend, but an obvious story that has played out many times in many places. I am older, and more experienced than you, and have seen this happen. That's how I know. Older, wiser, more observant. The kid who gets kicked out is a major asshole who is impossible to deal with 99 times out of 100. ASk any of your older friends who have had a fair share of roommates. People only get kicked out for not paying bills and rent, or bein a completely disrespectful asshole.
