^^^^yeah....that video was so good...Kit Erickson with his kickflip front board on that bench.....I really liked John Deago in that video....Sean Sheffey was mind blowing...as was Dongers' kickflip tailgrab over a garbage can on flat...so sick

There is a really smooth section up on youtube of John Deago from the 60/40 days....nothing mindblowing....but just hella smooth with good style....look it up and check it out.
yeah i tried recording that song ron allen and john deago skate to. i think its by ron allen.
"my mom said, you be careful out there....."
john deago was a fav for sure. the one footer over the green driveway gap.
amazing.

Re-issues of old H-Street boards?  I'm there.  I've always liked Ron Allen.  Now that I'm close to his age when he was pro for H-Street, from this perspective, the stuff he did in those videos is even sicker.  He should begin with the no-comply board graphic.  "Once you go to hell you can't come back. . ."

ive always wanted the hensley kingsize model with the eagle , never was a fan of the guy swinging on the street sign graphic.
the street sign was the first brand new board I ever had, it was rad! Then 6 months later I got the stained glass window hensley, the concave was crazy, I had rails on it but still slid the wood, mental deep - you really did choose a board back then.
probably ABP

they did two versions of the stained glass board. sounds like you had the first one. the 2nd one was with symetricave. kinda flat and you could barely tell the nose from the tail. i had a stained green one.one of the first boards i didnt ride rails on. i had the hensley setup. gullwing street shadows and a1 meats "ollie" wheels. 55mm i think?

hensley was the first and only dude i ever conciously wanted to look like....there's been guys where i saw shit and thought...him..that's cool...i'm gonna get that too...but w. hensley it was...'matt hensley's cool...and i wanna look just like him...'  the chain wallet was such an obvious bite but i didn't care...before you knew it though it was just the norm....

Never had a chain wallet, my thought was "man that would hurt to fall on" but I did rock the cut off green army cargo's, the shaved head etc..

yeah, i remember shaving my head not too long after i saw hokus pokus. chuka boots, cut off cargos, chain wallet, assorted h street t shirts. some of the boards had such massive tails, hard to ride at times.
