My cat just went to town on a bag of catnip I got him, I was watching tv and he jumps up on the couch absolutely covered in it.

I had a good laugh after he got the munchies then ripped a hole in the cat food.

oh my god, whole foods makes the most amazing chocolate pecan pie. i ate half of one last night with some red wine. fucking amazing. got huge chonolate chips mixed in with the pecans and it was darker chocolate, so good. definitely stocking those for holiday partys from now on.

Man, somehow the day went kind of smooth without my sister's arguing (too much). They generally don't get on too well in close proximity - they always have to make that one bitchy comment which erupts into war. Despite a pretty awkward christmas dinner on one side of the table and half-hearted 'happy christmas' greetings, the day was alright. The turkey was awesome, watched some rubbish tv around the fire and got Puff-daddy's aftershave from my mom which was pretty funny.
Might go out tonight, weather and people pending.

hope everyone had a dope christmas. mine was the best in years.

worked 7-3 after having been at my brother peters parents house talking about saving money to buy a house in Prague, drinking makers mark, arrogant bastard ale, and a bitter chocolate oatmeal stout til 3am. spent the rest of the day with family, immediate and extended. Everyone was so mellow and relaxed. we played a hold em tournament, washer toss, and did a gift swap amidst a tidal wave of "combo shots," beers, and doobs. I stayed sober this year and it was really cool to interact with my family in that sorta way.

Around 11pm went to the rents house with my sister and her boyfriend and exchanged gifts. Got some nice under armour to wear while running in the cold, a case of mouth harps, a bottle neck slide, a humdipak humidifier for my taylor, minor threat complete discography (totally outta the blue and full of stoke!), some beatles, and a few books. It was a great christmas. Oh and some clip pedals for my bianchi.
