Nike is a SHOE company it has shoes for every fuckin sport out there them coming into skating just means they are expanding their shoe lines to other sports
of course they are "cashing in on skating" we buy the shoes they make money just like any other of these "core" companies jesus!! the shoes are good let em be!!

That's right. All you Nike haters do realize you can't buy Nike SB from anywhere but skate shops, right? So what the hell is the big deal about Nike SB when you can buy just about every other brand at the local mall from some lame trendy shop like Zumiez or PacSun?

sounds like you buy right into their bullshit

Well if there "bullshit" is making good skate shoes and providing skaters with a wage, sponsoring more people than anyone else, funding skate spots (they added some new blocks at Southbank) and don't seem to shy with cash), helping "core" skate shops stay open due to selling "limited" Dunks in them.

Then yeah, if they help skating and are doing it properly (which they are now) I buy into it, but what about Adidas and Reebok, do you buy into there place in skateboaring ?
