Thanks for that - I haven't been able to get 'slow' out of my head.

This whole thread is amazing. Its made me realise that I've found so much amazing music either from skate videos, or recommendations in skate magazines or this messageboard.

Crocodiles - Sleep Forever

http://hotfile.com/dl/68499811/f854990/www.NewAlbumReleases.net_Crocodiles_-_Sleep_Forever_%282010%29.rar.html

Black Milk - Album Of The Year

Abe Vigoda - Crush

Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions

edit: one more

Kendrick Lamar - O(verly) D(edicated)

& here's the 1st track off the album, "Growing Apart" that seems to be missing from the dl links. (2 other missing tracks as well)

(the Crocodiles album's good. kinda has that Jesus & Mary Chain/My Bloody Valentine/The Horrors kinda vibe going on. Black Milk's a critically acclaimed rapper/producer from Detroit. Eminem's a big fan of his and this album does not disappoint. he produced the whole thing as well. get it while you can.  Abe Vigoda's new album is a lot less spazzy/noisy and a lot more British post-punk influenced. i prefer this deirection though. pretty good listen. Monoliths and Dimensions is Sunn O)))'s latest lp. definitely worth it. one of the best live acts ever. i highly recommend getting the last link up there, Kendrick Lamar's Overly Dedicated. he's an up-and-coming mc from  Compton who's worked with Dom Kennedy, Jay Rock, Ab Soul, UNI, etc. it's some lyrical and progressive west coast rap. the beats are also very nice. just download it)

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have links to download both of the Joy Division albums (closer and unknown pleasures)? I bought the records a while ago, but I want to put them on my ipod. I tried torents and they aren't working for me.

Thanks in advance

i find it fascinating that some people don't know how to find music on the internet. listen to kilgore. all you have to do is type the artist, album, then mediafire/megaupload/usershare/zshare, etc. voila!

there are still albums that are not easy to find, then you can post when a new release is leaked, upload something yourself and give it a password, recommend downloads with good audio quality and tell others which dl you were most psyched on.
i mean, you can also find skatefootage yourself, just go to thrasher, skateboardmag and everywhere else but a thread is there to pick out the good ones and discuss it    :P

oh , i know. i wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. my gf barely figured this out about a month ago too. she never knew how to download stuff from the internet. and yeah, some music's not that easy get from places like mediafire/megaupload. i'll sometimes just search random blogs or forums for obscure tunes. a lot of great albums are posted here and i've been turned on to new artists because of this thread. the first thing i got from here was that amazingly put together version of SMiLE (by purple chick.) it's so good. i might as well contribute

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard

http://www.mediafire.com/?a7a6xacaz5dri36

he's some 18-19 year old kid from this rap crew called Odd Future. this album's full of some self-recorded grimey, violent, druggie shit. you could hear some samples here http://www.earmilk.com/2010/01/10/you-better-fucking-recognize-tyler-the-creator/

How To Dress Well - Love Remains

http://www.mediafire.com/?pq5u7j11rk7

i was gonna post some of this guys ep's a while ago, but i totally forgot about it. just saw that pitchfork reviewed his album and it's raw. some lo-fi, experimental r&b. just dl it. his artwork's pretty great too.
