i was looking through my closet and found this not-too-old Big L shirt i bought at Rhino Records a few years ago for five bucks

and that inspired me to post one of my favorite rap full-lengths ever

Big L - The Big Picture

http://www.mediafire.com/?0tymmwionmm

"ask Beavis, i get nothin' But Head" one of the best lines ever.

Lovely krautrock/spacerock.

"The Cosmic Jokers was never an ensemble, per se; its members did not play together as Cosmic Jokers, and in fact were not even asked to join the group. Their music was created from sessions put together by Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser early in 1973. He arranged for several acid parties to be held at the sound studio owned by Dieter Dierks, where musicians were offered drugs in exchange for recording tracks. Participants included Manuel Gttsching and Klaus Schulze of Ash Ra Tempel, Jurgen Dollase and Harold Grosskopf of Wallenstein, and Dierks. Prior to this, all of the musicians involved had been in the Cosmic Couriers, which had played on experimental recordings by Sergius Golowin, Walter Wegmller, and Timothy Leary.}

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard

http://www.mediafire.com/?a7a6xacaz5dri36

he's some 18-19 year old kid from this rap crew called Odd Future. this album's full of some self-recorded grimey, violent, druggie shit. you could hear some samples here http://www.earmilk.com/2010/01/10/you-better-fucking-recognize-tyler-the-creator/

[close]

This shit slaps
[close]

EDIT*

Not related to the above album in any way, but Das Racist just released a free mixtape that ive been bumping in the car lately. Might be a little "out there" for some but its worth a listen for sure.

http://www.djbooth.net/index/mixtapes/entry/das-racist-sit-down-man

...and its free. Check it out.

I just came in here to post this, highly recommend both das rascist, and tyler the creator albums, both have really dope beats with hilarious lyrics on top of them, das rascist even has el-p on two tracks.  Some highlights.

"White People plays this for your black friends, Black People smack them"

"I with your girlfriend eating chips, Ay stop the beat bitch" (cuts to about 20 seconds of audio of him eating chips)

DOOM - DOOM!

edit: most of unexpected guests is on this tape, but it flows nice. check it out anyways

i kind of wrote off das racist at first but i checked out 'sit down, man' and have had it on repeat in my car the past two days. a lot of it is really dope. it's kind of like that line, thought it was pretty wack but later on eventually admitted that it's pretty crack.

Pretty crack crack crack. If you had just listened to Combination Pizza Hut/ Taco bell you'd never guess at how sharp those guys are.
The beats/lyrics are so infectious. Just make you want to freestyle.

imma hit you guys with some new shit. i'd heard of this new electronic sub-genre called witch house or haunted house or whatever cheesy tag they want to give it a while ago (i posted a ep comp called "let me shine for you" a few pages back), but i didn't really pay attention to the music that much. here are two albums that i think are worth checking out. the first one's from this group called Salem and it's on some creepy/druggy, southern rap influenced electronic tip. there's this other ep by this guy called oOoOO (pronounced oh) and it's also worth a listen. sleepy, dreamy type stuff. he's also on the shine for you comp. i also found this compilation of new, weird, lo-fi rap that's pretty sick. lil b's on there and an odd future remix at the end. really dope. get 'em all.

Salem - King Night

http://www.unibytes.com/ilWOR2mZPtsB

oOoOO - ep

Various Artists - Space Age Hustle Presents 3 Years Ahead: The Cloud Rap Tape

http://www.zshare.net/download/80148475e73ec953/

this stuff reminds me of jj, excepter, ariel pink, fever ray, throbbing gristle, black dice, early animal collective, etc. that How To Dress Well album is fucking amazing. sounds like a zoned-out tracy chapman mixed with prince or some shit. i'll re-post it and the LMSFY comp. trust me, they're good. creepy, but good.

How To Dress Well - Love Remains

http://www.mediafire.com/?pq5u7j11rk7

Various Artists - Tri Angle Records Presents: Let Me Shine For You

http://dismagazine.com/disco/6173/tri-angle-records-presents-let-me-shine-for-you/

it's all lindsay lohan covers too. sick shit. haha.

fuck it, 2 more dreamy/druggy/creepy/weird releases. haven't even listened to these yet, but they're free. so here goes

Balam Acab - See Birds ep

http://www.mediafire.com/?l66fnb81udj21gc

White Ring - Suffocation

http://www.mediafire.com/?diwns6zfw9o61m4#1

edit: the white ring ep is a single with a bunch of remixes on it. i'm really liking the vibe and vocals of a lot of these artists. sounds kinda chopped n screwed. i can dig it.
