pardon me but i think black history month is one of the dumbest things ever.
why do we need to set aside a month to acknowledge black history?
why doesn't black history coexist with "white" history?
in my humble opinion, i think black history month merely perpetuates stereotypes and inequality.

Yea I would agree. Black history month is pretty much a lame vestige of the civil rights movement. Really no place for it in modern society. Black history should be and is just a part of American history. 

i know that you guys are just trying to piss people off, but black history month is a good thing. it reminds people of how far we have come as far as getting closer to equality, and puts some positive vibes out for everyone to keep working for an even better future.

ive always thought black history month was a poor way for a eurocentric society to stroke its own dick and tell blacks their recognizing achivements.

however, when feburary rollls around i still show respect.


oh and i hate when some white people think their clever and ask me why there isn't a white history month.
