All of us should strive to be the type of friend Skinny Pete is to Jesse. Damn near teared up when he called Jesse his hero.

I want a series that just follows him around Alaska doing mundane stuff, on the verge of a panic attack that someone recognizes him.

Like in line at the grocery store, some dude gives him a double take, he starts sweating and nervously checking surroundings. And the scene ends with him just checking out an paying for his products, getting to the car and realizing he didn't use his store card for the gas points.

He does that creepy psychopath thing really well.
Great actor. Still can't work out how he bagged Kirtsen Dunst though!

Many of you right about how legit his friends are. After reflecting on film, only have a few amigos who would help like that plus not blood related

I feel like Netflix should’ve done a brief Breaking Bad recap before El Camino.  I was definitely a bit lost at some points and struggling to remember characters.

Why the hell didn’t Jesse shoot Todd in the desert?

They did. If you go to el Camino and then trailers or whatever you’ll see it there.

and if the 3 minute recap doesnt do it for you, there is also this -
I really enjoyed El Camino, didnt realise how much i missed breaking bad. Stoked Jesse should have a more peacefull life in Alaska.

the characters created in BB are so good i could watch a spin off for most of them - just not Todd
Ive just started Better Call Saul for another fix.

I've started watching BCS twice now and haven't gotten very far with it. Not sure what is missing but it's not hit the spot. Maybe I should try again?
Is Lydia Rodarte Quayle in BCS? I met her at a party once you know!

Watched El Camino again tonight. Still good. Keep finding myself laughing when the massive train of cops and DEA are heading to Skinny Petes. That's so American!!

Because his crew would have gone and killed Brock.

I was wondering about what stopped him from shooting Todd in the desert but I thought maybe he was just so beaten down at that point he didn't but that makes wayyy more sense. Watched this last night and was super satisfied, it was just a nice ending that gave some closure and I like the way they tried to include as many people from the series throughout it whether it was a small flashback or whatever. (krysten ritter, Bryan Cranston  etc )

Before they leave Todd mentions that if anything goes awry that they'll kill the kid. In the show when he tried to escape Jesse was fully prepared to die rather than continue cooking for them and in response they killed Andrea.

Finally got to watch this all the way through, and it was really good. Jesse definitely broke free, but not easy. The shootout with the welder was kind of a funny scene to me, even though it was badass, along with Todd offering fucking soup haha. Good closure to a great series.

Damn I left my bubbler at my parents house

bumping this to chat better call saul.

one episode left.
How'd this fair for everybody?
Last two/three seasons really crushed it IMO despite a slow burn and character building in the first few seasons.

How could they keep the story/universe going?

I couldn't get into "BCS" and stopped in the first season but have been keeping up with highlights (I know pretty much all that has happened).

Hope it ends with a satisfying conclusion.

Yeah unfortunately also only got thru one and a bit seasons of BCS. It came out too soon after breaking bad ended and I was already kinda burnt by the end of breaking bad.
I predict the same thing happening with house of dragon that starts soon by the end of GOT I was fucking over it and I was one of those superfans who'd watched it since the first min it aired and had read the books and all that.

I was the same way when BCS first came out, but gave it another shot around season 4 and it got really, really good. Can't recommend it enough, and can't wait for next week.

BCS is a slow burn but it's an incredible show. Last night was the penultimate episode and I cannot wait to see what happens in the finale.

I recently watched all 5 seasons of breaking bad and watched elcamino over the weekend.  Im ranking it over Sopranos now and now have been re-watching better call saul.

Randomly I am also re watching x-files, and realized in watching that Vince Gilligan was also a supervising producer on the show, and see a lot of common themes with the science and cancer and empire building

Man BCS is dope. Yeah, can be slow, but cool to see it all coming together. I always wondered why there was no Kim in Breaking Bad.
