Me and my friends were JUST talkin about him yesterday. One of them said "yea i heard he died" and we did some research and found out he was residing right in our city (jersey city). Fuckin sucks. Made plans to track him down and everything.

wow that is horrible... he was always someone i wanted to see live and i never got the chance. this is very sad. always been a huge inspiration to me and was the first MC that got me into real hip hop and i am glad because he had the most positive messages. moment of truth is basically somethin anyone can relate to... r.i.p. guru

I met Premier about a year ago... He did still play all the GangStarr songs that night, but he did look a little bit upset when I asked him if he was going to be doing anything with Guru again. He didn't look mad though. I guess they had some sort of falling out. That sucks, premiere seemed like a really nice guy too. I guess that happens.

Have you heard the album he released 2 days after guru died?  The beats are so fucking wack it is atrocious.  Would have been a decent tribute if done by any other producer in hip hop.  I got as far as track 2 before I had to shut it off.
