It could be connected anyway. They sound alike, bands with similar members, same genre, same label, similar titles / lyrics, remind you of the last one, whatever.

I guess I'll give this a try. That song reminded me of Fully Flared's intro song(found out it was by the same people). Whenever I think of Fully Flared, this song comes to mind.
