Whats ironic about that is that it's MY myspace... I dont know who that cat is but he must like my shit

Nice stuff, real chill. Are you hoping to make hip hop backing tracks or just pure instrumentals? Its good at any rate. Funnily enough, today I was thinking about forming a Cuban band, because I met someone that can play bongoes real well.

And bumbaclaat, I feel for you man, I just came out of that phase. It'll last a bit, but you'll get over it. Anyhow, throw some D's on that bitch

I make beats for various emcees, and anyone who inquires; they aren't made to be RJD2-esque, although I'll get there someday, but also real nice to just chill to... thanks for the kind words man.

If you can't find new music that you like you're not looking hard enough.  Saying that there isn't any good new music is a massive cop-out and you're lazy.

I think music is as good as ever but thats just my taste with mf grimm releasing american hunger, bronze nazzerth new album, ghostface fishscale, the new sounds cd was pretty good. You just have to look harder for the good stuff, but commerical top 20 radio music is totally horrible.I am not sure if anybody heard the new little brother mixtape with dj drama, but its so epic I would even say its better than their album.

HE IS SPEAKING THE TRUTH

I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING GOOD IN A WHILE

BESIDES SHIT FROM WAY BACK
You guys are morons.

Great bands from the 90s (and when i say great i mean musically they were amazing): Mansun, Radiohead,Suede,Pulp, THE VERVE..

Great bands today: Mew (Danish band),  A Silver Mount Zion, any post-rocck really that shit is epic, And Radiohead is still around.

Plus some of the lame bands of today (lame lyrically) make pretty decent music. I mean it's as good if not better than like the ramones or doors (bands whose music is not at all impressive)

Of course alot of these new bands are pure shit too.

but yeah...

To me, music isn't about being 'impressive' in it's difficulty to play. Maybe that's not what your getting at, but I feel there are bands that can make good simple music. I'm not saying the bands you like suck or they're not bands who make good music that is complicated, but I feel music is similar to skating in the sense that I'd rather see Nate Jones tre flip a three stair then see Chris Cole tre flip wallenberg.
let me just name a few of the hammers in this video...

if you had 20 bucks would u spend it on the video with nate jones tre flipping a 3 or chris cole tre flipping wallenburg? Honestly. Plus the bands i mentioned ARE the nate jones tre flip. They are way steezier than any punk band could ever dream of. In fact  whenever i see an ugly looking tyrone olson tre flip i think to myself "dang now thats PR!" Okay not quite. but yeah...

I'd rather spend my money on real to reel, the video with the tre flip I was refering to, then New Bloods, definatly. Also, sure, there is plenty of terrible punk rock, but there are good ones too, as well as other types of music which are simple. There are also good bands who play complicated stuff, I'm just saying just because something is harder to do, doesn't necesarily make it better. There are guys who can make a tre flip down a big gap look good, but there are also guys who can stoke me out with one on flat.

its not really about how complicated it is to play . there is alot of minimalist music thats awesome and like Spiritualized(British shoegaze band from the 90s) made some simple music but they made up for it with exceptional melodies/production/arrangements. Plus the better musicians always make the better music . It's true. maybe it's just that  punk rock fans just don't care about what sounds better. maybe you just want something that you think suits you better. who knows.
