i had trouble fitting the medium ones on my venture highs. i had to only use the bottom bones bushing and the stock venture bushing for the top.
[close]

Ventures are repelling the idea of turning.  Just force the bushings in, until they accept it.

i did that! but then my kingpin nut stuck out way over the hanger, so i need a taller king pin from a high set of trucks, like indys

..the thing i've noticed with low and even some high trucks (like ventures) is that they just use the same kingpins for lows and highs. i've used indy highs before and ive had no trouble fitting them in.

a little while ago i bought those yellow bushings. They skate nice but the lower bushing, at the part where the hard yellow thing and the white bushing is, is cracked. the white hangs over the yellow and you can hardly see the yellow. Now It's super loose al the time. sucks

that happened to both of mine.

wonder if you could send them back, because fuck knows i'm not paying another 20 bucks for bushings again this year.

expensive stuff indeed. just replaced the lower one with an old indy bushing. feels way better.

i might bite the bullet and make the switch from indy stock to bones.
this cold weather is preventing me from turning properly and its killing my good time.

got some Bones mediums. damn they feel more like softs. I think they are softer than the Soft Lucky Kegs that I have on my other trucks (great bushings, by the way).

gonna be turning like crazy on these Aces i'm riding.

as soon as you put those on your board you gotta start watching out for wheel bite alot more, especially if you ride low trucks

update:?  emailed bones about how mine broke and imploded into themselves, and got an email back today

they will replace them without me even sending them in.?  FUCK YEAH

Fuck yeah, that's good to know.

I recently made the switch after buying brand new indy's and taking the stock bushings out right away. Don't think i'll go back.

Bought a new pair of thunders, switched to high this time around. But they are always stiff, I have to tighten the bolt by hand for them to be as soft as I'd like them to be. Would a pair of Bones mediums solve this issue? Will I be able to tighten them and have loose trucks at the same time? Bugging the shit out of me

Yes Bones mediums or Lucky Keg softs would do the trick (I have Keg softs on a set of thunder hi 149s).

They khiro tops are metal so you can run without a washer, unlike bones where they will deteriorate faster.  Also khiro's quality is just as good with more duros to choose from.

Still looks like the bottom bushing will muffin top over the washer thing. you're better off just having regular bushings. There's nothing wrong with having washers.

Has anyone's ever split like this?

My front truck has been squeaking loudly and popping slightly out of place whenever I turn. So I took it off to have a look and it has separated from the yellow core and split almost right around where it presses into the hanger.

I skate them with the nut flush with the top of the kingpin so they weren't too tight, and I took the other truck apart to check the rest of the bushing and they were all fine.

Is it worth e-mailing them?

The material looks pretty thin over that hard plastic bit...I could see them just doing that again. Looks like a poorly thought out design.

Personally, I'll just stick with regular bushings.

Indy aftermarket/replacement bushings have been really good to me so far. I recently switched from the 92A mediums to the hard 94A ones. Since I'm not a little scrawny kid and like my trucks to turn (but not be sloppy loose) they work great from me.

I don't like how Bones jumps from 91A on the mediums to 96A on the hard bushings.

The aftermarket Indy bushing are actually really good. They take a while to break in unlike Bones, but they still perform well.
