same, but with this part ^ ^ ^

Recently found the DVD of this under a pile of stuff, stoked...I remember me and some friends arguing at the time, that this wasn't a part and just a footage dump, when I thought it was a part...great introduction to the brand..

This part is SO good. The song...the editing...the trick selection. There was always the Tim & Henrys pack formula, but Jamie Thomas was ahead of the curve to bring it back. First with the Garrett Hill & Tommy one where he turned them pro, then this Mystery one introducing 2 new guys to the team...perfect length back then too

Hoping for some BDK footage in it. He always delivers. Chardourne is one of my favorite filmers/editers at the moment, alongside Mulhearn and Jacob Harris. All have great vibes, and don't tend to always be filming the same Cali spots you constantly see. While I love seeing crazy NDB's at iconic Cali spots, I love Philadelphia, London and Europe footage aesthetically. Being from a cold Great lakes city, I guess I relate more to the crust of those cities.

So excited for Static VI (already pre-ordered and I'm sure I'll get hit with duty being in Canada), couldn't find my favorite montage on Youtube, but this is another great one. An NYC section to one of my favorite Hip hop tracks of all time.

Vans keepsake really rubbed me the wrong way. (Not enough to hate on it in its own thread or anything lol) but the music, filming, editing were all so far from what I would call good.

I'm really thinking those early 10s were the peak of internet skate videos. It's like they still had the mindset of making shit on DVD and everything has to be done with max effort. Even tho it's an instrumental they still picked something that suits the skating and actually builds
