built a cinderblock ledge and do it nicely, put concrete on the sides so it will look pretty and tidy

don't put metal spikes on the top of the ledge... makes it really hard to skate... me and my friends had to find out the hard way

you dont even need quick crete or rebar. get some cinderblocks, some liquid nails and some angle iron. ours is still going strong, and it took a hour.
