I have been playin this on blackberry its really great on iphone as well i am gonna cop it for DS anyone ever played it?

The board game can be sooo fucking fun. But there are a couple strategies that are not a fun way to play, but almost gauruntee(sp!!!) that you win

oh man, I love this game.  I used to play this game with my brother in laws at family gatherings.   Then their wifes had babies and now they don't let them have any free time to play with me. Bullshit. The iphone game is fun, but it's to easy.  Got boring after 4-5 plays.

i have lately just been going for wood and clay at the beginning so i can get roads quick so i can start making more settlements. at first i tried to just get tons of rock and grain and build cities right away but then i could never get the right stuff to make roads. i need some new strats

also there is one called starfarers of catan its really fun too nto as good imo tho

haha i tried that strategy, its good cause you can get the 5 roads 2 points + the knight card 2 points really early in the game, but then i got stuck trying to make the last 4 points : (   If you get the market + university though you'd just have to come up with like 1 settlement and 1 city or something like that

still havent won a single game online yet, someone beat me by 1 point last night.

tried this other strategy i just went for a triple grain corner and then my 2nd turn i placed it on the 2 for 1 grain bonus and i got super chinced out on the rolls. its sick playin on iphone or pc cause it tells you what got roleld after the game. my friend was saying he found the iphone version really hard?? I found the blackberry one really easy but now i find myself losing again.
