Yeah he died back in 2014.  I could be wrong about this,  but wasn't there a rumor going around that he died a few years before that, proven untrue, and then really did die later?

Was brought up a while ago. Basically Mike was ready to turn him pro, all he had to do was film another video part and Marquis kinda just never did it. Dude eventually got jaded, sponsors dropped him, and he stopped pursuing skating as a career.
