Because even in the comics Negan pretty much has a soft spot for ladies and children. He's ruthless as fuck to dudes. That's why he didn't pick out a chick to beat to death.

As for how brutal it was, I'm glad they didn't censor it. It was brutal in the comic, and it was brutal on the show. Good for them.

but in the comics from what i remember he had a room full of women who he basically forced to be with? isn't dwight's love interest one of those women- how he got that scar ?

That episode was ok... The beginning reminded me of those weird shows you see on the sci-fi network during the day and wonder who watches them... But got better towards the end. I just really hope they get to the good stuff quickly, and that means action

The garbage pail kids scene reminded me of star wars, the sarlacc pit.

Episode was pretty good for the build up. I like how Eugene acted overly cowardly and lied about being a scientist again. Also that interaction with Dwight at the end.

so them constantly killing zombies isn't repetitive as opposed to other enemies with different story lines? if thats what they did feature people like you would complain that its just a repetition of humans vs zombies thats been done over and over again.

its been said again that the title of the series "walking dead" is a literal reference to the human beings on the show themselves...

Yeah the show definitely has it's stale moments, but I've very interested in what's happening now. I want to know if Eugene actually did go to Negan's side or if he's just playing along to exploit his new standing. I also really want to know what's up with the weird ass garbage group. The actress that plays their leader is beautiful in a strange way tbh

Me and my wife just started to re-watch the show again. I only made it to like season 3 or so when it was airing on TV. We have now watched half or so of season 2 in about 5 days. Haha
