Dude, i have that same problem. It's sooo annoying and frustrating.

Not that I am really good at them, but put your back foot exactely in the middle of your tail.well that works for me.

counter your front foot movement to make your board steady - usually its slightly heelflipping so point your foot up a little bit, just experiment

do cheater ones....front shuv to late 180....that's what i do...

they're harder in my opinion.

Fs flips.  I either spin it the whole way and land 50 feet from it, or land 90 half assed.

I just got proper pivot fakies.
The way i do them is, you ride up to whatever, get into the pivot, but keep your body angled foward. Dont turn with the pivot, or it will be impossible to come in fakie. Then just pull it in fakie and ride away.

Everytime I do one, whether it be on a bank or anything else, I always end up doing a pivot to rock and roll.  Any ideas on how I can fix that?

Yeah. You have to do a little manual down the obstacle to clear your front wheels from going into rock/roll. It's pretty scary, try it on something small at first.

man..i'm the worst...with pivot fakies I cheat too...i shuffle slide out....if the ramps super steep it doesn't look that bad....i'll take anything though..

I learnt feeble fakies first and found them a bit easier but useful for learning how to come in fakie

or you can cheat....the way you learn the cheater trick is first do like a backside carve with your front foot over your foot... then you just shimmy it to fakie....then you do it on coping with two trucks (cheater 50-50) to fakie...then do it with one...

I dunno bout full cabs but i set up for half cabs like normal flips from there its all in the shoulders

Anyone got any fs flip tips I just can't figure them out

try putting your back foot across the tail of your board, like with your toes hanging over the side. that helps me flip them without slithering around.

For frontside flips, I find that Reynolds tricktip from Show Me The Way to help a lot. Especially that backfoot thing he does, put your toe on the heel corner of the tail and sort of push and pop it like a front shuv.
