I loved tigermilk, every single song that album but everything else is meh.

I think that's a closed minded opinion and you haven't given the rest a fair chance.  All of their albums have great songs for any mood.

i was hoping for an electric renaissance type song comeback in the new one.

a good friend of mine is way into all that electro-pop stuff that's so hot right now...we were driving around listening to Tigermilk the other day and she freaked out when that song came on, like "holy shit, what is this??"  she couldn't believe it was over ten years old...Stuart Murdoch, trend setter at least ten years ahead of his time, who knew?

tiger milk is great and i like catastrophe waitress and life pursuit quite a bit.

Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant is my favorite album by far. No one else has listed it though. at least i'm not the only one who throughly enjoys belle and sebastian.  I wander through my ipod trying to find something to listen to and most of the time it's them.

Super solid album.  I was surprised when I heard that Push Barman.. was all B-Sides and extras.  Lazy Line Painter Jane?  Photo Jenny?  Legal Man?  Those could be enders for any album!

And don't forget about their "Rare" tracks.. Pocketbook Angel, Big John Shaft, Rhoda... Sympathy For The Devil/Legal Man?  Gold for days.  I almost want to go to Glascow just to get a taste of their inspiration.

I have most of their stuff & there's a few good songs here & there like I'm a Cuckoo & Sleep the Clock Around. I just can't get into any other albums & I don't get it I played the fuck outta Tigermilk. Just my opinion though.
